Choosing The Right Machine
What's the difference between direct-drive and gearbox-driven pressure washers?
Direct-drive pressure washers connect the pump directly to the engine. They are compact, lightweight and well suited to general professional cleaning applications.
Gearbox-driven pressure washers operate the pump at a lower speed using a reduction gearbox. This design reduces pump wear and is often preferred for demanding applications, extended running periods and higher-duty operation.
Should I choose a petrol or diesel pressure washer?
Petrol pressure washers are commonly chosen for general cleaning applications and offer a lightweight, versatile solution.
Diesel pressure washers are often preferred where fuel compatibility, economy or site requirements favour diesel-powered equipment.
I'm not sure which machine I need.
If you're unsure which machine is right for your application, contact us with details of how you intend to use the equipment. We'll be happy to help you choose the most suitable option.
Can I speak to someone before I buy?
Yes. If you need advice before placing an order, please contact us and we'll be happy to discuss your requirements.
